Outlook 2011 For Mac Freezes Constantly
I am done with Outlook 2011 but want to export rest of the data into.mbox and then convert to.pst and then import into Outlook 2016 in a VM windows 7 running on Macbook.phewwwww. I really can’t understand the obsession with Outlook. I use it too and have for about 20 years even after switching to Mac from PC.
On original user, delete all Outlook preference files, plist files, caches, start up logs (look on Mactopia website to get list of all you should delete). Restart in safe mode again and log onto main user. Copy identity from test user to documents/etc/etc in main user. 
You should find that if you start Outlook now in main user, all will be well.

When you start Outlook for Mac 2011, the application crashes or hangs. IMPORTANT The location of certain files are different if you have Service Pack 2 (SP2) installed. To check if it is installed, open Word, and then click About Word from the Word menu. Mavericks totally screwed up my Outlook for Mac as well to the point where I got back to my computer this afternon to 32000 'new' emails streaming into my inbox from as far back as last June. Hold down the Option key on the keyboard, and then click the Outlook icon in the dock. The Microsoft Database Utility will open. The Microsoft Database Utility will open. Note You can also access the Microsoft Database Utility by opening the Application folder and then opening the Microsoft Office 2011 folder. Hi there, I've been working with a Mac Airbook and Outlook Office 2011 for months perfectly. But today Outlook just keeps crashing constantly after is has synchronized with the server. If I work offline it doesn't crash.
